Our Story

The inception of Trella was driven by the challenges faced by our CEO, Aja N. Atwood. Struggling with the constraints of growing tall plants in a limited indoor space, Aja embarked on extensive research to address this issue. Together with fellow inventor, Andres "Dre" Chamorro III, they got input from experienced growers, incorporating feedback and improving the design. Their journey culminated in the creation of the patented TrellaGro LST™, an automated solution that trains plants to grow horizontally, optimizing space utilization. This unique approach has positioned Trella as a trailblazer in the vertical farming industry, setting new benchmarks and reshaping the way we perceive indoor cultivation.
